3月11日，英国圣埃德蒙学院海外部Smerdon校长一行到访我校，开展深度访校交流，并与我校结为姊妹校，开启中英教育携手共进的新篇章。此次合作不仅是两校友谊的深化，更是我校拓展国际视野、推进国际化办学的重要里程碑。
On March 11, Mr. Smerdon, Head of International at St Edmund’s College, UK, visited our school for an in-depth exchange and officially signed a sister school agreement, marking a new chapter of Sino-British educational cooperation. This partnership not only deepens the friendship between our two institutions but also represents a major milestone in our efforts to expand international vision and advance globalized education.

全方位展示华天育人生态
踏入幼儿园教学区，充满童趣的活动空间与“游戏+探究”课程理念相得益彰，中外教协同组织孩子们开展场景化活动，让外宾们直观感受到华天双语国际视野在启蒙阶段的落地生根。
Entering the kindergarten teaching area, the playful activity spaces harmonized with the “play + inquiry” curriculum philosophy. Chinese and foreign teachers collaboratively organized scenario-based activities, giving the guests an intuitive sense of how Huatian’s international vision takes root at the early childhood stage.
当了解到幼儿部实行外教半日全程融入教学与生活时，Smerdon校长频频点头，对这一沉浸式双语育人模式给予充分肯定，称赞这种全英文浸润的环境，不仅关注孩子的语言习得，更在真实互动中培育孩子的跨文化理解力。
Upon learning that the kindergarten has foreign teachers fully integrated into teaching and daily life for half the day, Mr. Smerdon nodded approvingly, praising this immersive bilingual model. He commended the all-English environment for not only focusing on language acquisition but also fostering children’s cross-cultural understanding through authentic interaction.
随后，Smerdon校长一行移步国际课程中心教学区，依次考察特色教室、实训场地及标准化考场设施。
Afterwards, Mr. Smerdon and his delegation moved to the International Curriculum Center, visiting specialized classrooms, practical training areas, and standardized examination facilities.
国际课程中心黄祥喜校长详细介绍了与全球接轨的课程体系、分层教学模式及近年学生升学成果。在试卷保密室及在线考试场地，双方就考试规范化管理展开交流，英方对华天考点的硬件条件与专业流程给予高度评价。
Principal Huang Xiangxi of the International Curriculum Center elaborated on the globally aligned curriculum, tiered teaching model, and recent university admission results. At the test paper security room and online examination venue, both sides exchanged views on standardized exam management. The British side highly commended Huatian's hardware facilities and professional procedures for the test center.

从英语节到姊妹校的友谊延续
参观过后，在双方代表的共同见证下，两校正式缔结姊妹校关系。
After the tour, in the presence of representatives from both sides, the two schools formally established a sister school relationship.
我校陈梦俭校长首先致欢迎辞。
他表示，华天双语学校始终致力于培养“身心健康、学术卓越、国际视野、济世情怀”的未来英才，学校构建了从幼儿园到高中（含国际课程中心）十五年一贯制的课程体系，拥有一支高素质的中外教师团队，在夯实国家课程的基础上，融合国际先进教育理念。
此次与圣埃德蒙学院携手，期待通过教师互访、学生交换、联合教研等多元形式，让华天学子在跨文化体验中拓宽视野，让世界成为他们的课堂。
Our Principal Chen Mengjian delivered a welcome speech.
He stated that Huatian Bilingual School is committed to nurturing future talents with “physical and mental health, academic excellence, international vision, and compassion for the world.” The school has built a 15-year integrated curriculum from kindergarten to high school (including the International Curriculum Center), with a high-quality team of Chinese and foreign teachers. While strengthening the national curriculum, the school integrates advanced international educational concepts.
Through this partnership with St Edmund’s College, he looks forward to broadening students’ horizons via teacher exchanges, student swaps, and joint teaching research, making the world their classroom.
Smerdon校长去年春天就曾到访我校，并参与了学校的英语节活动，是华天的老朋友了。他表示，正是那次英语节让他看到了华天学子身上的创造力与国际素养，也为今天的深度合作埋下了种子。
Mr. Smerdon, an old friend of Huatian, had visited our school last spring and participated in the English Festival. He said that it was that event that revealed the creativity and international competence of Huatian students, sowing the seeds for today’s in-depth cooperation.
随后，他介绍了圣埃德蒙学院的概况。
这座位于英国伦敦郊外的名校是一所拥有450年历史的顶尖私立学校。学校实行幼儿园到小初高，十五年一贯制教育，秉持“激发个体潜能，拒绝模式化培养”的办学理念。学校注重全人培养，开设运动、艺术、照护动物、社区服务等多种社团活动，毕业生遍布全球知名学府。
Smerdon校长表示，非常珍视此次合作。这不仅是一次东西方教育理念的对话，更是为两国学生搭建相互理解、共同成长的桥梁。
He then introduced St Edmund’s College.
Located on the outskirts of London, this prestigious school has a 450-year history. It offers a 15-year integrated education from kindergarten to high school, adhering to the philosophy of “unlocking individual potential, rejecting a one-size-fits-all approach.” The school emphasizes holistic development, offering clubs in sports, arts, animal care, and community service. Its graduates are found in renowned universities worldwide.
Mr. Smerdon expressed great value in this partnership, calling it not only a dialogue between Eastern and Western educational philosophies but also a bridge for mutual understanding and shared growth for students from both countries.
双方正式结为姊妹学校，两校未来将围绕教研交流、学生交换等领域深化合作。
The two sides formally established a sister school relationship and will deepen cooperation in areas such as teaching research exchanges, student swaps in the future.
双方将定期开展线上线下联合教研，互鉴教学理念与方法；遴选优秀学生开展短期交换项目，插入对应年级班级全程参与日常教学与校园活动；同时，圣埃德蒙学院授权华天双语学校为其在华指定考点，负责入学考试（11+、13+、16+）、学科测评、英语在线测试等组织实施，为无锡及周边学生对接国际教育资源提供规范化考试服务。
Both parties will conduct regular online and offline joint teaching research to share educational concepts and methods; select outstanding students for short-term exchange programs, placing them in corresponding grades and classes to fully participate in daily teaching and campus activities. Meanwhile, St Edmund's College authorizes Huatian Bilingual School as its designated test center in China, responsible for organizing entrance examinations (11+, 13+, 16+), subject assessments, and online English tests, providing standardized examination services for students in Wuxi and surrounding areas to access international educational resources.

英国知名大学录取通知书68份，覆盖15所英国名校，其中G5超级精英大学录取11份（帝国理工学院2份、伦敦大学学院9份），罗素集团大学录取率达100%。
During the 2025 and 2026 application cycles, students from Huatian Bilingual School's Domestic High School Division and International Curriculum Center secured offers from numerous internationally renowned universities worldwide. The UK admissions have been particularly fruitful.
68 offers from renowned UK universities, covering 15 prestigious institutions. Among them, 11 offers were from the G5 group of elite UK universities(2 from Imperial College London, 9 from University College London), and the acceptance rate for Russell Group universities reached 100%.
