在学期中,小学部各年级举办了由外教与学生共同主导的教学展演,生动展现了这份深植于日常的国际化培养。孩子们自信登台,生动展示一学期以来在英语口语与听说能力上的成长。表演妙趣横生,台上台下洋溢着学习的快乐。
Throughout the semester, each grade in the Primary School Division held teaching showcases jointly led by foreign teachers and students, vividly reflecting the deeply integrated international education embedded in daily learning. The children took to the stage with confidence, dynamically demonstrating their progress in spoken English and listening-speaking skills over the term. The performances were full of wit and delight, with both performers and the audience radiating the joy of learning.

The Chinese-teacher-led lessons not only systematically establish a clear framework of vocabulary, grammar and sentence structures to solidify foundational knowledge but also emphasize aligning with the educational goals of the New Curriculum Standards, cultivating students' thinking and comprehensive competencies in applying English in authentic contexts.



外教课堂则在此基础上,着重提供纯英文沉浸式教学与多元场景应用,充分利用晨间、课间等碎片化时段,通过小组单元学习确保每位学生获得充足的口语训练。
The foreign teacher-led classes further build upon this foundation by providing full English immersion instruction and application in diverse scenarios. By making effective use of fragmented periods such as morning sessions and breaks, these classes ensure ample oral practice for every student through group-based module learning.

一、二年级以项目式学习推进,如“环球之旅”“动物世界”主题,外教口语课在此阶段扮演关键角色。课程以绘本教学为切入点,通过情景对话、趣味互动和分层练习,孩子们在全英环境中练就纯正发音与自然表达,于情境中认识自然,培养好奇心与表达自信——这是任何升学通道都需要的核心素养。
For Grades 1 and 2, project-based learning drives the curriculum, with themes ranging from "Global Journeys" to "Animal World." Children learn English and explore nature within these immersive contexts. This approach transcends language acquisition itself, fostering curiosity and confidence in expression—core competencies essential for any future academic pathway.
中年级Middle Grades (G3-4)
文化融合,在美育中培育跨文化理解力



三、四年级的课堂注重深度交融,学生用英语探究中国文化、讨论全球议题。孩子们化身小小主播、小演员,用简单的英语表达观点、演绎情节,亦或成为自然保护家,在了解濒危动物的过程中,既积累了相关词汇,又树立了保护自然的意识。
In the third and fourth grades, our classes focus on deep integration, where students use English to explore Chinese culture and discuss global issues. The children take on roles as little anchors, young actors, or even conservationists. While learning about endangered animals, they not only accumulate relevant vocabulary but also develop a sense of responsibility to protect nature, all while expressing their ideas and enacting scenarios in simple English.
高年级Upper Grades (G5-6)
项目化学习,在探究中锻造未来核心能力





五、六年级以“环球美食”“过去与现在”等主题开展深度项目学习。各小组自主选定目标国家,通过多渠道查阅资料,深入挖掘当地特色美食文化,精心绘制出创意满满的美食地图海报;同学们主动搜寻各类物品的发展史,从日常用品到科技产品,一步步揭开历史的面纱,直观感受科技迭代带来的巨大变化。
In Grades 5 and 6, students engage in in-depth project-based learning around themes such as "Global Cuisine" and "Past and Present." Each group independently selects a target country and, through multi-channel research, delves into its unique culinary culture, carefully designing creative culinary map posters. Students also actively explore the evolution of various items—from everyday objects to technological products—gradually unveiling the layers of history and gaining a vivid understanding of the profound changes brought about by technological advancement.

外教音乐课 Music Class
通过学唱经典、感知节奏,孩子在外教引导下于艺术浸润中自然积累词汇、培养纯正语感。
Through singing classics and sensing rhythms, children naturally accumulate vocabulary and cultivate an authentic sense of language under the guidance of native English-speaking teachers in an artistically immersive environment.
外教STEM课 STEM Class
以英语为工具,开展实验、设计与探索项目。学生在动手协作中完整经历 “研究-实践-展示” 的全流程,无缝衔接未来学术场景。
Using English as a tool, students engage in experiments, design, and exploratory projects. Through hands-on collaboration, they experience the complete cycle of "research-practice-presentation," seamlessly transitioning into future academic scenarios.
外教体育课 P.E. Class
外教以全英文组织游戏、球类及团队活动。学生在锻炼体魄的同时,于真实互动中掌握运动表达,培养阳光、协作的跨文化沟通力。
Native English-speaking teachers organize games, ball sports, and team activities entirely in English. While strengthening their physique, students master sports-related expressions through authentic interactions, developing a positive and collaborative cross-cultural communication ability.
三门课程共同构建了沉浸式双语学习生态,让孩子在艺术、科学与体育中,自然成长,全面发展。
These three courses together construct an immersive bilingual learning ecosystem, allowing children to grow naturally and develop comprehensively through art, science, and sports.
HTBS 小学部外教项目课

孩子们每周有大量时间与外教相处,亦师亦友,边学边玩。
这种持续浸润的效果显著,正如一位二年级家长所反馈的:“孩子的词汇量惊人,且词汇面非常广,有的已经超过了爸爸妈妈;孩子能听懂在四五年级的哥哥姐姐的听力材料。”
The children spend substantial time each week with foreign teachers, who serve as both mentors and friends, creating a fun and engaging learning environment.
The effect of this sustained immersion is remarkable, as reflected in the feedback from a second-grade parent: "My child's vocabulary is astonishing, both in size and range, with some words already surpassing what my husband and I know. Moreover, the child can understand listening materials intended for fourth and fifth graders."
